PARENT OBSERVATION
We provide two outstanding climate controlled observation areas for the comfort, convenience and viewing pleasure for our Sunbelt families. We provide an upstairs observation deck or our ground floor enclosed foyer. You are welcome to observe your child’s participation at any time, but we must insist that spectators remain QUIET and CONSIDERATE of those around them while enjoying our facilities.
If your children accompany you in the observation deck, YOU are responsible for making sure they behave appropriately and remain considerate of others in the room. No gymnastic activity or “horseplay” is allowed on the observation deck or the foyer area.
DRESS CODE
- NO JEWELRY! We are not responsible for lost personal items.
- Girls must wear a leotard. T-shirt and athletic shorts are acceptable. No skirts, shorts or tights are allowed, and long hair must be pulled back.
- Boys should wear athletic shorts and a T-shirt that can be tucked in.
PRIVATE LESSONS
We generally require you to commit to ONE MONTH of private lessons at a time (our experience shows that any shorter duration is likely to provide unacceptable results).
ABSENTEE POLICY
We never overbook our classes, so we cannot guarantee the availability of make-up classes.
Your tuition pays for your reserved place in the class for which you registered. If space does become available in a similar class, we can arrange a make-up lesson for a fee of $5.00. The rescheduling fee is due on the day of the make-up class, prior to participation in the class. This fee compensates Sunbelt for holding a space in the make-up class for your child. Cancellation of an arranged make-up class requires telephone cancellation 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. Failure to do so will result in your being billed for the make-up class.
PAYMENT POLICIES
We require your credit card information to be held on our online program upon enrollment via our website sunbeltgym.com. Tuition is automatically charged on the 1st of each month. If your card has been declared invalid you will receive correspondence from our office to update your card information. A $10.00 late fee is charged to your account if your payment information has not been corrected by the 5th of the month.
If your credit card information has not been corrected by the 10th of the month, your child will be withdrawn from the program. Our billing schedule ensures that each student receives an average of four lessons per month. Please be aware that holiday closings may cause some months to have only three lessons, while others will have five.
- We do not issue refunds for absenteeism.
- If your child is absent you have one month from the date of the absence to make up the class. You must schedule a makeup class through the Parent Portal or by phone at least 24 hours in advance.
- There is a $20-per-hour charge ($5 per 15 min) for supervising children left waiting in our lobby area as the result of “early drop offs” or “late pick ups”.
- We require a 30 day notice for withdrawal by email to sunbeltgymnastics@gmail.com
